Dance Videos I Love…

I’m on a roll here! I’m so inspired today, I just want to post on my blog all day (truthfully that’s not going to happen…EVER). I’ve got this idea from Chico (check out his site at chicogarcia.wordpress.com or just click on it!) where he has this regular posts of his latest favorite videos entitled “Videos I Like”.   Most of them are inspiring, some are haunting, some are hilariously, throw-you-off-your-seat funny, and some are just plain W-E-I-R-D.

It got me thinking, why don’t I also feature the dance videos I like since dance has always been one of my loves <3. Dance captured well on video can be the most amazingly awesome thing you can ever see. :) So enjoy these fresh first batch of videeooss!

First up, one of the most amazing choreographer I’ve seen in our generation, Shaun Evaristo. He’s a story-teller, and dancing is how he tells his story. Just watch the video, and you’ll get me.

Shaun’s intro to the video:

“coulda,woulda, shoulda….

that’s basically what this piece is about. everyone kinda relates in some way, in this short film the main character was too afraid to approach a woman whom he was attracted to, goes back home angry for not doing anything and finds alcohol to remedy his feelings. his delusions get the best of him and his imagination is the only place for a connection…..coulda, woulda, shoulda

Created by Shaun Evaristo
Directed by Richard Che

i made this piece for myself, and i decided to put it on film to create something different for me. i do hope you enjoy it, there was a lot of work put into it, and some great artistry behind it. i hope i was able to make something that speaks to you.”

I’ve recently watched Step Up 3, and all I’ve got to say about that movie is… it was jaw-dropping. The first ever battle in that movie was between Moose (one of the supporting/semi-lead character) and Kid Darkness. Now, I believe everyone’s thinking who is this Kid Darkness and why is he so cute? HAHA! I’m proud to introduce to you Daniel Campos a.k.a. “Cloud”. I think he is half-american and half-pinoy/filipino according to an article I read on the internet. FYI, he is a legit bboy and film-maker in real life. Here’s one of his videos. Well-made, entertaining, and funny.

Cloud’s intro to the video:

“This is a story of all the things that we find annoying about having a roommate and how we constantly play the game of who has the last laugh!! I hope you ENJOY!”

That’s all for now, folks! See you again soon… God bless! :D

The “Partner”

Since the coming of Meteor Garden on Philippine Television, the never-ending addiction for Kdramas, Jdramas, and Taiwanese dramas (most commonly known as Asianovelas) has become part of the lives of many Pinoys. Most Filipinos have been hooked on these dramas consuming half of their day just watching these heart-seizing television shows. After the rise of popularity of the Meteor Garden, evidently seen by how everyone in the Philippines has slotted their siesta schedule with watching a 45-minute episode, this show has paved way to other Asianovelas into Primetime TV.  We have all seen Full House, My Girl, Coffee Prince, Lovers In Paris, and the latest sensation, Boys Over Flowers, but there are still so much more to see and yet to come for every Pinoy’s viewing pleasure.

But step aside romantic-comedy Asianovelas, and make way for a Kdrama like no other, a brand new show that I’m sure everyone’s going to enjoy.

“THE PARTNER”

“Who is your partner?” When you take a look at the definition of ‘Partner’, it gives you synonyms such as colleague, sharer, spouse, and accomplice. Partner is a person who is strongly associated with me; the one who knows me very well and stays by my side. The word ‘Partner’ takes a different meaning when it is used in law firm. Partners are the people who survived from the power struggle. They are executives who are on the top of the law firm pyramid. Enterprises are law firm’s partners. Law firms fight each other to become a partner of business. They struggle to be close to power and to become a slave of money. There are some lawyers who want be the partners of commoners as well. They are willing to be the spokesperson for the underprivileged. It is a story about partner; the one who is going to stay by your side and fight together in front of law.

And a New Chapter Unfolds…

Finally, finals are over, and the beginning of a new trimester awaits. :) It’s been a long time since I’ve logged in, and I undeniably miss this blog so much. Since there are no latest posts, my blog has been unvisited for a while. But enough with the rambling, I’m here to bring good news! Okay, I am exaggerating a little bit, but seriously this is good news. :D

The Celebration Church’s Youth Fellowship has prepared an original musical play, all written, directed, and produced by young people. In Emerge Teatro, we would like to showcase and focus on the astounding creativity and unique talents of the youth, used and harnessed, all for the Glory of  God. So without further ado, Emerge Teatro Presents,

ASSIGNMENT (resize)“Time to turn your ‘light’ on.”

What if God gives you an assignment, would you be willing to finish it? What if this assignment is beyond your capability and capacity? And what if it goes beyond your comfort zone? Would you still be willing to do it for God? Let’s witness the journey of Aimee and how she undertakes an assignment beyond herself, knowing that God is with her to help her fulfill anything that the Lord requires of her. Now, it’s time to turn your “light” on!
