Since the coming of Meteor Garden on Philippine Television, the never-ending addiction for Kdramas, Jdramas, and Taiwanese dramas (most commonly known as Asianovelas) has become part of the lives of many Pinoys. Most Filipinos have been hooked on these dramas consuming half of their day just watching these heart-seizing television shows. After the rise of popularity of the Meteor Garden, evidently seen by how everyone in the Philippines has slotted their siesta schedule with watching a 45-minute episode, this show has paved way to other Asianovelas into Primetime TV. We have all seen Full House, My Girl, Coffee Prince, Lovers In Paris, and the latest sensation, Boys Over Flowers, but there are still so much more to see and yet to come for every Pinoy’s viewing pleasure.
But step aside romantic-comedy Asianovelas, and make way for a Kdrama like no other, a brand new show that I’m sure everyone’s going to enjoy.
“THE PARTNER”
“Who is your partner?” When you take a look at the definition of ‘Partner’, it gives you synonyms such as colleague, sharer, spouse, and accomplice. Partner is a person who is strongly associated with me; the one who knows me very well and stays by my side. The word ‘Partner’ takes a different meaning when it is used in law firm. Partners are the people who survived from the power struggle. They are executives who are on the top of the law firm pyramid. Enterprises are law firm’s partners. Law firms fight each other to become a partner of business. They struggle to be close to power and to become a slave of money. There are some lawyers who want be the partners of commoners as well. They are willing to be the spokesperson for the underprivileged. It is a story about partner; the one who is going to stay by your side and fight together in front of law.
Tired of watching romantic Kdramas with the same plot line? I definitely recommend this for viewers who crave for action-packed, suspense-filled legal drama with a dash of mystery, light comedy, and romance.
“The Partner” finished airing in Philippine Cable TV (Skycable) last September 10, 2009 on KBSWorld, channel 75. But to give you some heads up for those who are planning to watch this show, there’s always the internet which is always one click away for our convenience.

This is quite an interesting movie. I’ve been attracted to its title. I hope I could watch it. I’m really looking forward to seeing this film. Somehow the trailer was not as inviting I hope it should be. Trailers are suppose to attract the people in watching the movie, but it seems like it failed on its part promoting the fim in an exciting way. Despite the boring trailer(I’m just being honest, I have the right in expressing my thoughts.), I’m still excited to see it. It would be showing in theatres this February 13, 2009. But I’m not sure to when’s the key screening here in the Philippines. All the Shopaholics out there, this is a must-see flick!! ☺☺☺
The truth is - I just post anything on here, whatever comes to mind. A spontaneous writer that's what I am, but I'd still like to think you'd get something meaningful from what you'll read. God bless!
